Arts App has been the most fun ever!
We've moved on from visual arts to theatrical arts..
this is so exciting!!
we get to play act sorts of things in class..
i doubt there're any other fun lessons!
1st was the Mirror Image
partnered with Xueting my lawmate..
we did some real weird actions... haha...
do it in slow-mo and lead the other party into coordinating the actions with ye!
2nd was Center of Gravity
Concentrate on the thing that u're told to..
eg. chin.. i tied a string onto ur chin.. den i tie the other end to a motor cycle..
the vehicle starts up.. den slowly move.. n so ur chin will start to follow the flow..
den it moves faster n faster!!!
its concentration.. act in ur own way when u haf only instructions.
3rd was House Appliances
class was divided into 2 grps.
our grp had to act as a washing machine!
haha... n so there was this operator.. throwing a shirt(a gal) into this man-made machine..
n so the gal joined me n xueting as shirts inside!
spin n spin n spin.. dry clean part i started become insane!
n den we were HUNG UP!
4th was Photo Montage
in the same grps, we had to pose as if we were a photograph taken in a specific place given..
Beach was the place.
i had to pose as the surfer! haha
the thing is we have to imagine that we're the audience n portrait how the audience wana see the portrait as so that they will noe whr the place is w/o telling them!
n the last was Sounds...
same grp again.. We had to pretend that we're in the jungle n create the sounds so the other grp could guess whr the place is..
i opened the scene with a lion ROAR!! haha.. it was so funny..
