Bolt + Dinner and Dance

Went early early to Astons at Katong for lunch. Somehow Jo doesn't like to go out this early and he always grumble about being out so early and will only list out all the cons of it.



On our way to Cineleisure for movie. Camwhoring moments while Jo was driving. Cos i dressed up for Dinner and Dance hehe

Wanted to catch Madagascar 2 but ended up catching the new Disney animation Bolt instead.
Bolt is the main character, the cute white dog.

Then it was Dinner and Dance at Shangri La Hotel which is located at an ulu place near Orchard Road. Free photoshoot and caricature. I didn't manage to get a caricature though, due to the long waiting queue :(
But I managed to get my photoshoot! hurhur

The DND was very entertaining, with dance competitions from ppl of CPFB, table games and a very entertaining ANG MOH emcee, who is very talentedly funny and multi-linguistic. She even sang Hokkien and Malay song! She spoke in hokkien too and made a racist joke. hurhur. I think she's earning big bucks in Singapore. No one else can be as entertaining as her.

Somehow, due to the first table game I became the table leader. Then there was this table game where "YMCA" song will be played at random times throughout the event and if the whole table stands up to do the YMCA dance, the table will get a winning ticket. By the end of the DND, the table with the most winning tickets wins. Imagine eating halfway and the whole table has to jump up to dance the dance. haha! Then there was treasure hunt, which my table didn't win either... My table only had 2 winning tickets at the end. hurhur

What matters is that everyone has fun :)


why am I blogging now? cos Jo's having guard duty right now and I'm damn free rotting at home... hahaha

I doubt any Malays read my blog, so...........

has got company Dinner and Dance this Saturday,
is bored,
is busy at work,
is doing well learning driving,
is looking forward to tmr's meeting with the 2 girlfriends,
is looking forward to every weekend with boyfriend,
looks forward to next Monday which is Hari Raya Haji,
looks forward to seeing Katie and Vickie,
is learning how to bake cookies next Wednesday,
is waiting for her next payday,
wonders how her friends are doing and
misses all her friends, no matter where they are...

Only then that I realised that even the sourest candy has no taste when u're sad...

pulau ubin

I finally went to pulau ubin with yh to cycle..

So full of zest initially, I used my full force to cycle uphill and went downhill so happily until we went the wrong way and had to cycle back the path. Then I began pushing my bicycle uphill and happily going downhill a couple of times and finally found our beach! BUT the beach was less than 100m long. sadded :(

Life is full of uphills and downhills.

Going uphill is such a tedious process, but if you do not reach the top, you do not get the satisfaction. If you stop halfway, you'll be back to the dot. That's equivalent to wasting your energy. So just give it your all and persevere to the top and enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Going downhill may not be as bad as you think. The speed gradually increases and then slows down and you're back to your normal life. For e.g. resignation from a job, you knew you'll be resigning, then you resign and you're back to your normal life.

I enjoy my cycle on a plain road with just a little ups and downs.
(if you wanna hear the taurean language - I enjoy a peaceful life and rotting.)

Pulau Ubin is full of dogs, I finally saw 2 cats before I returned.

At the end of the road, you may find what you wanted, but not what you had expected.

Apple had lost even before a battle started.

If ever Apple was in the battle, Apple was ignorant.
Apple has been doing its best to avoid battles, but it seems that they're inevitable.
What can Apple do, but to lose all it can.
Other than Apple's willingness to lose and its loss, what else would you like from it?

maybe it's just your imagination.

Apple's only hope is that the battle is for a just cause and seeks for some faith. It is concerned that the people will not get hurt in the battle.
