what i did for xmas eve and xmas?

Same as last year. BBQ-ed and camped at East Coast Park like many others did.

Unique thing was: we did not have any pit.

Christmas eve:
Sam, Joan, Yong Min and I went at around 3pm to set up the tent.
Yong Min drove us to somewhere near Marine Cove (Mcdonald's) and we alighted with all the BBQ and tent stuff. Sam and I fully loaded ourselves with the stuff and went hunting for a site to pitch our tent. It was so bloody heavy. Joan then stayed at the carpark looking after the rest of the stuff. The floor was so muddy and it was so hard to find a good dry site in order to pitch our tent. Sam and I stepped on mud. But, whatever. HAHA. Had free mud-spa for our feet.

Nevertheless, we managed to find one which was dry with some trees around so that we can tie our canvas which was stolen from the previous Christmas. :/

Tah-ma-de I had to sit on Sam's shoulder to tie the canvas even though I was afraid of heights. See how much I sacrificed for a gathering?

Yeah the stolen canvas is the blue one behind the tent which the Pasar Malams use. (see picure below)
My disgusting foot.

Night arrived and BBQ was on the grasses!

It snowed at East Coast if you didn't know.

Xmas arrived while I was BBQ-ing and our group was damn bloody slow. we din even countdown. Just heard ppl shouting "MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
Then Chun Gui shouted with a very confused look: "Hey It's Christmas!"
We were all stunned. And then we went around hugging each other and said: "Merry Christmas!"

Then they began throwing sparklers into the sea. How sick is that? But we derived satisfaction from polluting the sea even though we knew it was pollution. I din do that. It wasn't me. I really didn't. I'm serious. I din even get to play sparklers. I was BBQ-ing!

And then it's Gift Giving:

Used poker to see who gets what. We were all damn high and noisy during this time because it makes us so excited to not get stuff like cardboards, clock, weighing machine, iron board, and back-to-school stationery. HAHAHA

I got myself a 365-until-i-die calendar which costs $9+. (considered not bad as compared to the organiser Sam who got himself the cupboards from Ikea which costs $2+) muahaha poor organiser.

Top prize of 200 x 10 cent coins = $20.00
went to Wong Chun Gui!!
Everyone was aiming that. HAHA lucky Gui.

I was so damn tired I went to sleep.
Woke up to see the daybreak. and had Mcdonald's for breakfast.
Couldn't stand Joan and Sam squabbling over breakfast. I need peace. I need some Zen-ness when I wake and over breakfast.

Look what we've done to the grasses:

Oh and there's CWO to clear our mess!

I felt so lonely during Xmas. Cos Sam and Joan got themselves each a partner. So It's 4 less lonely ppl in the world.
That was for Xmas eve til Xmas.

So, what was for Xmas?
I rushed home, din have any sleep and prepared for picnic at Sentosa with my 2 cousins and one of their friends.

We arrived at Sentosa by a tram from Vivocity. It costed only $3 which includes entrance fee to Sentosa and you can take the tram to anywhere in Sentosa. But only 3 stations now: Vivocity, Imbiah Station and Beach Station. It works like an ez-link card.

So we arrived at the Beach station.

Looked for a great site. Luckily the sands were dry.

We were full very fast cos we ate very fast cos we were all too damn hungry. So we rested a while and played UNO. Playing Beach UNO on the beach.

Gift exchange time! I got a Cinamoroll ez-link card holder from my dear cousins. cute. haha!

Oh and what a great site I chose. We got to see hunks! See picture below for Alex Toh lookalike!

This was what I prepared. Enjoying life huh? HAHA

In case you didn't know, it snowed at Sentosa too!

How can I miss out a Christmas tree on Christmas day? :D

Low Class Society

I'm early.
But still,

Merry Christmas!

May all ur wishes come true.
May the couples stay on forever.
May the loners find lovers.
May the rich get poorer and the poor gets richer.
May.........

well too many wishes I wanna say.
So whatever you want, just close your eyes and shout this out loud:

"HONG SHIYING!
I WANT _______________________!
THANK YOU SHIYING! YOU ARE THE BEST GIRL IN THE WORLD AND STAY PRETTY AND CUTE AND CHEERFUL AND HAPPY AND LOVELY FOREVER! I LOVE YOU!"

Alternatively, you can shout:

"ANG EH!
HOR WAH _____________________!
GAM SIA ANG EH! LIH SEE THE BEST GIRL IN THE WORLD AND STAY PRETTY AND CUTE AND CHEERFUL AND HAPPY AND LOVELY FOREVER! WAH AI LIH LAH!"

Go on.... Shout it out loud so I can hear :)

Anyway 元卫觉醒 (Yuan Wei Jue Xing) is back!
In case you don't know who they are, they are a Taiwanese pop band made up of 2 guys. One mainly plays the guitar and background voice while the other (the cuter one) is the lead singer and knows scratch disc and plays harmonica :)
They're different from the normal pop group like you-know-who tho:/
Their music comes with a summer feel and I liked this band since my Secondary School days (around 4 years back)

Ok just fuck the details and listen to their new song 下流社会 (Low class society)

and so i need money. my point of showing this video: I WANT MONEHHHH!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

home alone.

My parents are going Genting tomorrow morning.
I'm gonna be home alone with my bro.
Bro's gonna lock himself in the room.
Me too.

Mon's gonna be at chalet. im gonna watch them get drunk and high and vomit. and den I'll sleep.
Tue's gonna be back home, doing my housework. whoa how tiring is that gonna be?
Wed's gonna be at the zoo with my cousins.
Wed's late night gonna be my parents' home coming.

Yup, that's the agenda. In the middle of the 3 days maybe will stream some online movies.
Well, not exactly alone, I've still got my soft toys XP

Death At A Funeral

Do not judge a show by it's title!

The title of the movie may seem dark, but it actually is a black comedy.
Please note that this show is not showing in the theatres already.
You can watch them somewhere in the cyberspace which is available world wide-ly.

Ok back to the movie I was talking about:

Despite its dark name, the movie is insanely funny. I couldn't stop laughing and I laughed till my soft toy (its name is Momo) dropped on the floor!

The movie is about a dysfunctional British family who got back together to attend the funeral of the Father of the family and several things happened during the occasion until there is only little respect for the father. There are several sub-plots in this comedy. It wasn't really about the funeral, it was rather about how things can go insane in life.

A dignified send-off for a loved one erupts into uproarious chaos when romance, jealousy, in-laws, hallucinogens, dark secrets, life-long yearnings and a spot of bold blackmail all collide grave-side in the irreverent British comedy DEATH AT A FUNERAL. Directed by Frank Oz

Some funny moments in the movie:

The 2 Sons of the family being blackmailed by a short guy. This short guy had an affair with their demised father. shocking news to them indeed. Watch the show to see how they dealt with him after that. There was even a scene where they thought the guy was dead and they placed him together with their father in the coffin. How did they managed to put him in the coffin when there were so many people attending the funeral? Watch it! HAHA

An inspiring speech given by one of the two sons:

"So, maybe... maybe he had some things he liked to do?
Life isn't simple, complicated.
We're all just trying to live together in a world full of chaos and
confusion.
A world full of questions and no answers.
Death always lingering around the corner.
We do our best. We can only do our best, and my dad did his best.

My dad always tell me: "You have to go for what you want in life
because you never know when you're never gonna be here, and whether you succeed
or you fail, the most important thing is you have tried. A parent can only guide
you in the right direction and in the end you have to run for yourself. You have
to grow up yourself."

So when you leave here today, I would like you to remember my father for
who he really was; a decent, loving man. If only we can be as giving and as
generous, and that is as understanding as my father was, and the world would be
a far better place."

whoa. ok pls go and watch.

imdb rating: 7.4/10

Lead actor, Matthew Macfadyen, was one of the actors in Pride and Prejudice. and I had been wanting to watch Pride and Prejudice. Ok lemme find it. Or anyone has it? :D

Burger Ramly

after abt 2 years of not buying any Ramly Burger, suddenly the price became from $2 to $3?! can fight with mcdonald's alr.

whoooooa. i graduate alr i go find malay boyfriend and learn how to make ramly burger and sell it for a living alr.

You must read Ramly Burger's history on wikipedia. I read alr i wanna laugh:

Despite its popularity among Singaporeans, the import of Ramly Burger into
Singapore is prohibited (a strange fact as frozen Ramly Burger patties are
approved for sale there), along with all other Malaysian beef products.
However,
several stalls have smuggled the burger, albeit illegally, into the
country. In
particular, Ramly Burger stalls are rampant in pasar
malams
, which are
harder to track due to their itinerant nature.

A certain tribe in Malaysia use Ramly Burgers as peace burgers, often the
offending party buying the offended party burger. Usually with RM20

Muaha ok we must go and sell Ramly Burger alr.

what a perfect match!

match of the vocals, i mean.

Bon Jovi and LeAnn Rimes - Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore

It might be hard to be lovers
But its harder to be friends
Baby pull down the covers
Its time you let me in
Maybe light a couple candles
Ill just go ahead and lock the door
If you just talk to me baby
Til we aint strangers anymore

Lay your head on my pillow
I sit beside you on the bed
Dont you think its time we say
Some things we havent said
It aint too late to get back to that place
Back to where, we thought it was before
Why dont you look at me
Til we aint strangers anymore

Sometimes its hard to love me
Sometimes its hard to love you too
I know its hard believing
That love can pull us through
It would be so easy
To live your life

With one foot out the door
Just hold me baby
Til we aint strangers anymore

[Solo]

Its hard to find forgiveness
When we just run out of lies
Its hard to say youre sorry
When you cant tell wrong from right
It would be so easy
To spend your whole damn life
Just keeping score
So lets get down to it baby
There aint no need to lie

Tell me who you think you see
When you look into my eyes
Lets put our two hearts back together
And we'll leave the broken pieces on the floor
Make love with me baby
Til we aint strangers anymore

We're not strangers anymore
We're not strangers
We're not strangers anymore

you are so beautiful~

to me......

Guys who want to con girls, learn this song:
You are so beautiful by Joe Cocker

this is a live performance of Joe Cocker (right), Pavarotti (middle) and Alex Gritti (the guitarist)
Luciano Pavarotti a very famous Italian tenor. He appears in the media as one of The Three Tenors (what they call the "SAN1 DA4 NAN2 GAO1 YING1" in Chinese)

So in this performance he appeared as "ZUI4 DA4 NAN2 GAO1 YING1".
Please focus on his eyebrows. HAHA so cute la can express his feelings for the song he is performing.

ok jokes aside. His vocals is really powerful. im gonna fall in love with his songs.
