First Drive

i drove my family back home today using my dad's car for the first time after i got my license.
i must say that i suck at parking.
HAHA!

New year resolution:

1. Pass my practical driving test in 1 attempt.
2. Try my best to be able to do what I want.
3. Be a good girlfriend.
4. Be a good friend.
5. Finish 4 x 10 Din Tai Fung xiao long bao with Jo.
6. Save $10k if possible.

SHIYING PASSED HER PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST FOR CLASS 3 LICENSE!

all the stress and worries are over!

i must thank a lot of people.

Mainly my mommy (who sponsored my all driving lessons and tests), Monica Tay (who went through the tests with me, introducing her driving instructor uncle and also for praying for me), Monica Tay's uncle (for teaching), Guanyin ma (who bo pi-ed me to pass in 1 try), Jo (who gave me some tips as and when he drove me around, and borrowed me his test paper), my brother (who went to Temple to pray [for himself] and got me an amulet at the same time), my dad (who also gave some tips), Chun Gui (who shared my anxiety for the test as he's taking his this Saturday! May he pass too!) and the invigilator (who looks so fierce like the Ah Nam, and speaks so fiercely, but is so kind to let me pass).

And for those who gave me the well wishes and such, thank you.

I passed!

driving test in 2.5 hours' time

the weather seems very fine now, i hope it remains the same.
and i pray that i do not strike the kerb in crank course,
move off from the slope smoothly.
all else good and well.
and i pray that i pass the test today.

if you're wondering why i haven't been asking my friends and cousins out recently...

it's because I'm so stressed at work and I'm doing the fucking OT and learning my driving lessons preparing for the big driving test this thursday which i hope that i do not fail otherwise i would have to spend more money on lessons and booking the test and it is a total waste of time and I've been looking around the website at what and where I should further studies and figured that if I were to go UK to study law the school fee is estimated-ly similar to studying in Singapore (the one which I'm looking at) but then I figured that my interest does not lie in law, and Jo's birthday's approaching and I just simply hope that i pass my driving test and Vickie's flying off soon and I'm looking forward to seeing Vickie Wine and Sheena again.

A huge change in my life. Mainly...
Graduation from TP,
Friends going overseas to study,
Friends going to local university,
Guy friends are on their journey to become MEN, learning to protect the nation,
Getting from single to attached,
Got the taste of getting sacked,
Me getting a full time job in the government sector,
Getting the taste of getting bonus and working in a big office.
Learn driving.

My 2008 resolution was to "Define my life!"

And so, I've somewhat decided what I want to study.
So I guess I have done what I should have done. Now I know that I don't see myself in the legal sector in the future. I want to try something new. I will try my best to find ways to fulfill my decision.

This year, there are more things to fulfil...
