The cloudless sunny day made it a great day for a good swim.
In case you wonder, I hate to swim when it's not sunny.
And a hot hot sunny day means its time for rock and roll!
I like to do nothing the whole day and go for a swim by myself. It's an undescribable feeling.
It's peace.

Med Check

The moment I stepped into the place i could sense all the guys' eyes on me. Then i stepped into SAF Career Centre and the NS men at the counter like stunned lidat and their minds seemed outta space and they even stuttered. Ok that sounds dramatic and funny. HAHA. Next up, I stepped into CMPB the place for medical checkup, and again i could sense all eyes on me. It really felt like they're very deprived of girls.

Deprivation is an understatement.

The female doctor/nurse even told me that the guys said that i look like Jap doll -_-"
There was even a blood test where they'll extract 10ml of my blood from my arm. In case you don't know how much 10ml is, it's 1 WHOLE TUBE kns i didn't know before i go lah.
I've always been very afraid of needles, jabs and blood. I looked away when she injected and got my blood. Ok the thot of it now is making my hand wobbly and it seemed like i can't type anymore with that hand.

But there's still gonna be an estimated-3 hour Compass Test which they'll test your eyes, ears and hands coordination and stuff. haha shit.

And no idea when I'll get a call/notice from them.

yeah i watched it with mojojojo before he booked in on Sunday.
Botak boy.
i have so many botak friends all of a sudden.

And I suddenly remembered that when I worked at Isetan Parkway they kept paging for "miss JOSEPHine chua" for dono how many hundred times a day. It was funny cos the bugs, aka The Sickening Friends as given by Samuel Jiang Xing Quan, call him Josephine.

The Dark Knight has got an interesting plot, please catch it. Especially when there's Christian Bale acting as Batman and Heath Legder as Joker. Damn cool show. Best Batman show ever (even though I havent watch all previous ones, but I think they looked crappy yet funny). Ok I shall catch all Batman shows soon. HAHA

And I wanna get Batman aka Dark Knight comics, the graphics and story are damn cool. There's even Superman in the story and then you see Batman retreating from and returning to the scene and turning old and how he die all... Damn cool.

Shit, i have not had my Lord of The Rings (LOTR) movie marathon.
i've got so many marathons i needa attend.

I got a craving aka kwaving to go kbox to sing sing sing!

New Phone!

Yippee I finally got my new hp!
I was deciding between Nokia N82 and Sony Ericsson C902, both of which has a 5 megapixel camera.
However, I chose to get the SE C902 instead, cause I looked at the display set of that Nokia model and I think that I won't like it for a long time as it is very bulky and it doesn't look that pretty.
I admit that I'm one who judges a book by its cover. hee.

Anyway, SE has added a lotta features to its phone and I'm rather impressed by them. I converted from a SE Walkman phone to a SE Cybershot phone. I'm rather unused to the improved menu and user interface and features as they are rather new and different to what I have been using on my W810i. But I'd grow to love it.

Ok lemme go and play with my new phone.

Batman Day

The day The Dark Knight premieres.
The day I wore a shirt with Batman's logo to TP to have lunch at Mensa. What else but Western and have my fav Deep Fried Pork Fillet with Nacho Cheese!
The day I read The Dark Knight Returns comic by Frank Miller in TP's library after lunch cos it rained.
The day I wanna read more of Batman's comics cause it's so interesting.



Therefore I call 17 July Batman Day.

Liverpool

Alrite, no money, so i chose Liverpool. I sure wanna go UK someday, but I'm still unsure if I wanna study Law.

Liverpool = Not as many seasports as Southampton. :(

I finally know what Liverpool is famous for other than football,

I swear that I will go Kitesurfing/Kiteboarding at least once in my life.
And I swear that the next time if I visit Bintan I am gonna go at the right season and right accommodation to play it!

Kitesurfing = No boats, just wind, kite and you.

officially lonely

i just sent yh to tekong.

Zero, yh was very nervous and scared. i could sense it.
Firstly, the ferry is really slow.
Secondly, the place is as pretty as a chalet.
Thirdly, I think the School tour is a bit slow.
Fourthly, the bunk has really comfy beds and good ventilation and does not look like a potential ground for ghosts and all.
Fifth, there's even a room for games and tv.
Sixth, the "lecture" about what the recruits are receiving is really funny. The person was just saying what the things are and briefly went thru their purposes. I could see the items myself.
Seventh, I think yh bought and brought a lot of extra stuff.
Eighth, the talk and all at the auditorium was boring and I kept yawning. Plus the sergeant gave his speech really fast and he said "childrens". HAHA Shit.
Nineth, the lunch was a bit short.
Tenth, he marched off and I waved goodbye, smiling all happy.

I didn't cry ok?
it wasn't as depressing as I imagined.

Eleventh, I did all of the above with yh's father...
awkwarded.
HAHAHA

ok since he will be in camp for 2 weeks, he probably won't see this so soon.
I can't stop thinking of yh with his shirt tucked. HAHAHA

i just sent kj and winsor away yesterday in the morning and afternoon.
and then i dedicated my late afternoon to midnight to my darling to watch Hellboy II and Red Cliff. I promised him to watch The Dark Knight with him.

and im gonna send my darling away later in the early morning.
i've set my heart not to cry, and i really hope so.

Self-comforting time:
it's nothing.. just lesser time together but more quality time together.
and i will have lotsa free time cos im jobless and penniless at the same time.
more time at home to rot and watch lotsa movies and do housework.
im usually fed by my darling and im thankful for that, but without him i might just cut down 1-3kg.

bad time:
there'll be more time for me to browse aimlessly on the internet,
shopping without any money,
have lesser food and drinks,
nobody to carry my bag,
nobody to hold my hand,
no more nice food,
no more movies on the weekdays with my darling,
lesser time to chat on the phone,
i'll be waiting all day from the moment i wake to the moment he's free to chat with me,
i'll be so lonely.

arghhh

in another view, it's time for me to swim, jog, hang out with my friends on weekdays and look for a job.
i need to lose some fats and get more money.

Bintan

I'm back from Bintan!
My first time in Bintan and I did a lotta things that I've never done before and I find them new, interesting and exciting to me. Yh and my first time to overseas to Bintan and together. We had alotta first times there. don't get the wrong idea.

How to go Bintan from Singapore?
Transportation to the island is simple; we got there by Ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT) (shit, i actually typed TMNT - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle).
it was a 1 hour trip.
Actually the trip took 0 minutes cos we left Singapore at 2pm and reached Bintan at 2pm (Indo time).
Trip = 0 minutes
HAHAHAHA. ok my weird logic. thanks for reading my crap.

Anyway, they have really weird names for their vessels: ARIA, ,INDERA, BUPALA (no idea what it means). but pronouncing BOO-PAH-LAH just makes me feel like laughing.

Accomodation - Mayang Sari Beach Resort
We were a little dissapointed that it rained the moment we reached Bintan. Was really really sad on the bus to our resort. But it gave us the opportunity to ride on the resort's buggy. heh. been aiming on that buggy for 3 years in TP. Luckily the rain stopped after a while.

We stayed at a rustic resort (chalet) right beside the beautiful beach and it's sea-facing. woooot! i love it. i've been dreaming of it and it finally came true :D
The resort offers a very peaceful and quiet place for relaxation and and fun.

Mayang Sari is owned by Nirwana Gardens, who owns many other hotels in Bintan. Well but I think this one is very nice and feels undisturbed.


A panoramic view of the resort and beach taken with my digicam and photoshop-ed to put them altogether. The beach and sea is pretty, clean, clear and calm, unlike the Singapore waters, full of waves and so dirty.


Food
Buffet breakfast provided by hotel is really sumptuous. They have a variety of food from Bread to Teochew porridge to on-the-spot-cooked-by-the-chef eggs to cereals to salads to pastries and fruits. Good enough for us. Filling enough to last us to dinner. So we saved a meal! HAHA

Food sold in the hotel is definitely more expensive than those outside. So we travelled by the shuttle bus ($6/pax for unlimited ride a day) to a place called Pasar Oleh Oleh (it means a place for gifts) to have our dinner. Although I do not eat spicy food, but I simply couldn't resist the Tom Yam soup there. So sour and spicy that our nose taps spoilt and leaked some fluid :/

Btw the cigs there are bloody cheap at $3+ only. Heineken sold at 3 cans for $5. wth?




Activities
Go-kart, i nearly flipped. im lousy. whatever~ :P


The sun was brighter on the 2nd day (luckily it rained on the 1st day) and we could play our water sports. We got to play Jet Ski, went snorkelling and kayaked. But lousy yh got seasick a while after kayaking. kns. wasted $18. ok maybe $9.

Jet Ski was exciting. It was our first time jet skiing. I was the pillion rider first. i was a bit scared at first cause I was kinda afraid of speed and the wind hit right into our faces and we drank a bit of seawater. We went fast and passed the waves and flew over the sea. We were like crazy bitches screaming allover the sea. HAHAHA. we were too excited.

Ok then my turn to drive the Jet Ski and yh was the pillion rider. I feel damn excited and went full blast all the way and flew a lotta times over the sea. WOOOOOOOOT! I think yh was scared that he'll fall into the sea. And I nearly dropped him into the sea :/
This time I drank more water as the driver sitting infront. I find the wind really cool blowing allover my face.

Then it's his turn again to drive. This time he was insane. He seeked revenge and tried to drop me into the sea 3x! Crazy asshole :P

Godammit no pics for jetski I sosososo regret not bringing out my digicam.

Then we sat a boat out to sea to snorkel. It was our first time snorkelling. we nearly couldn't survive without the life vest. HAHA. dammit. It was better when we wore our life vests into the sea.

Btw he dashed back on the beach to the resort to get my digicam for snorkelling. Handsome! :D

We returned and I dragged him to kayak together. I think sitting on a kayak and waiting for the waves to pass by is the most fun thing. You just sway up and down, to and fro. But poor yh wanted to vomit soon after :/



Before we returned to Singapore, we went Rifle Shooting and Archery. Both of which I haven't played before. But I think I'm rather good at rifle shooting :D
My archery just sucks. I have no strength to aim properly and I don't know how to aim. Sucks. But yh hit the bull's eye. wooot!



3 days 2 nights is seriously not enough to finish the things I want to do there. I still want to play a lotta sea sports like wakeboarding, catamaran sailing, windsurfing, dinghy sailing, boogie-boarding, banana boating, kite boarding and jet ski again.
And I wanna play Action ATV (All Terrain Vehicle).
