Death At A Funeral

Do not judge a show by it's title!

The title of the movie may seem dark, but it actually is a black comedy.
Please note that this show is not showing in the theatres already.
You can watch them somewhere in the cyberspace which is available world wide-ly.

Ok back to the movie I was talking about:

Despite its dark name, the movie is insanely funny. I couldn't stop laughing and I laughed till my soft toy (its name is Momo) dropped on the floor!

The movie is about a dysfunctional British family who got back together to attend the funeral of the Father of the family and several things happened during the occasion until there is only little respect for the father. There are several sub-plots in this comedy. It wasn't really about the funeral, it was rather about how things can go insane in life.

A dignified send-off for a loved one erupts into uproarious chaos when romance, jealousy, in-laws, hallucinogens, dark secrets, life-long yearnings and a spot of bold blackmail all collide grave-side in the irreverent British comedy DEATH AT A FUNERAL. Directed by Frank Oz

Some funny moments in the movie:

The 2 Sons of the family being blackmailed by a short guy. This short guy had an affair with their demised father. shocking news to them indeed. Watch the show to see how they dealt with him after that. There was even a scene where they thought the guy was dead and they placed him together with their father in the coffin. How did they managed to put him in the coffin when there were so many people attending the funeral? Watch it! HAHA

An inspiring speech given by one of the two sons:

"So, maybe... maybe he had some things he liked to do?
Life isn't simple, complicated.
We're all just trying to live together in a world full of chaos and
confusion.
A world full of questions and no answers.
Death always lingering around the corner.
We do our best. We can only do our best, and my dad did his best.

My dad always tell me: "You have to go for what you want in life
because you never know when you're never gonna be here, and whether you succeed
or you fail, the most important thing is you have tried. A parent can only guide
you in the right direction and in the end you have to run for yourself. You have
to grow up yourself."

So when you leave here today, I would like you to remember my father for
who he really was; a decent, loving man. If only we can be as giving and as
generous, and that is as understanding as my father was, and the world would be
a far better place."

whoa. ok pls go and watch.

imdb rating: 7.4/10
