In case you wonder...
Why I'm home at this time now on a Public Holiday (Singapore),
How I'm doing at work,
How I'm coping with life.
Firstly, I'm home on a Public Holiday cos everybody's out.
Black gf is at Genting (with his new bf, hurhur).
Brown gf is MIA.
Parents are at Genting too.
Bf is in camp (kena extra). He's even got field camp at Tekong on Tue - Fri.
Poor thing... he's sick and I can't do anything to help... and I dono what was I thinking, I was thinking that if I were in the army too I would definitely be his replacement so that he can go home and rest. I wouldn't even mind sacrificing my holidays. HAHAHA!
Then I went on to think if the others would do the same for him/if I would do the same for others (Figure the answer yourself).
Secondly, it's VERY busy at work.
Everyday is just work and work AND WORK and I get headaches after work almost everyday.
It's worst when there're driving lessons after work. Cos it requires a lotta concentration. Full concentration for the whole day @ work, then full concentration again during driving. grrrr.
Don't worry, I just got myself a medicated oil.
My supervisor is trying hard to make me do OT, something which I really hate. The word is HATE. So I am doing my hardest to not do OT too :S
Lastly, I'm doing my very best to cope with life.
Working hard and saving up for education and future.
The next time you see me, and you see me spending, please stop me.
Missing my dear friends who're in UK. Especially Katie who's nowhere to be heard.
I try to maintain a balanced life between friends, family and bf.
Apparently I think they all are not free. HAHA
So here I am talking to myself and watching movie at home. I just caught The Notebook on my notebook (feat Ryan Gosling).
It was a pretty movie.
And then I thought of the poor boy in camp again.
Poor thing. He's working very hard too.
Anyway, Winsor and I volunteered for an event for the children at the Singapore Flyer.
Was at the registration counter, which reminds me of FO in TP with Katie and KJ. HAHA!
It was in a great mess.
Anyway, we got the chance to get on the Flyer for half of the normal rate! hurhurhur.
So I accompanied Winsor to the Flyer (it was his first!) and I wanted to take it in the daytime to get a better view. The previous time was with Jo at night also. hmmmm.. So this time we thought we could catch some fireworks at the event so we took it at night (again for me), but I guess we were expecting too much.
You know their fireworks was so much lesser and smaller than the ones we fired in Taiwan, yet they costed so much more!

i think there's something on the top left hand corner :S

YSL New Love
(Left to right)
It's a pity that I didn't win any of the lucky draw items. There were a total of 40 lucky draw prizes and there were only like around 60-70 people around, but luck still wasn't on my side. How can I be so unlucky? Prizes ranged from the lowest of $15 NTUC voucher to Nintendo DS Lite to Sony PSP to Samsung Home Theatre System to a grand prize of Samsung Plasma TV! (The main reason why the office workers spare the 2 hours after work to attend this party)
OMFG ryt?
Anyway the party ended at around 8pm. I dashed off, thinking that I could get Coffee Bean's halfpriced Cheesecake, but Coffee Bean was closed. Damn it! Sorry Winsor I can't get halfpriced Cheesecake for u :/
Then I waited for the fucking bus to Orchard which didn't come cause the last bus is at 7+.
Ok nvm I shall skip everything. I got a YSL Golden Gloss (my new love)! Smiles smiles smiles on my face even though I was fucking sad that the bus didn't came after I waited for so long. It's ok, I've got my YSL to cheer me up. HEH!
I am feeling hungry now. I shall try to sleep early.

600th post
Not as many as Winsor's post,
but still....
u know...
A LOT.
Finally, my Black gf passed me the final part of my Birthday present after 7653928 days after my birthday. But I don't mind, cause it's a handmade pressie and it's thoughtful :)
As I read those words at the back of the montage, I can't help but have my eyes slightly welled with tears. I shall keep those words just between the two of us.
Thank you, my Black gf. You'll be in my ♥ .
As you can see, we cam-whore a lot!
Anytime, Anything, Anywhere, Anyhow.
Just Do It!
It's not that hard to imagine.
Now, where's my pressie from my Brown gf - Monica Tay?

Can you believe it?
Satisfaction...
Affordable and quality mineral makeup.
I got a lot of samples from Everyday Minerals to try out first cause I heard a lotta good stuff about mineral makeup. (Mind you, these samples are not free! I got 2 of them for free tho cos I'm the one with the most amount of order lai!)
I must say I feel really comfortable with it cos it's so light and it feels like you're wearing ZERO makeup. :)
With mineral makeup, you definitely can't miss out the super soft and luscious Kabuki brushes.
Yeah, I fell in love with it. Too soft to resist!

Even shopping online can be for a good cause. I got the Pink Ribbon blush.
Pink Ribbon (blusher)
Is a special promotion for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds from this lovely pink blush with white shimmer goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
If you feel like trying mineral makeup, please get a Pink Ribbon too!

filled up
An advanced birthday surprise for my dear cousin who's of the same age as me.

I have no idea why the fire turned out to be purple in the picture.

Golden Pin Mushroom with Bacon I loveeee it. My hot favourite item at the BBQ. We must do this for every BBQ :D

Went to Wild Wild Wet too and I'm sunburnt. I think I should get my friends to go together some day, it'll be damn fun if everyone's sporty enough :)
Then it was weekend and it's outing with mojojojo.
Finally got to eat at Shokudo in Cineleisure and I fell in love with their Carbonara. Rich and Creamy yummmm~
A surprise from mojojojo:
ok maybe I didn't look as surprised when I saw it. HAHA

If you remember, I have a smaller version of it in pink rabbit outfit and it's called Momo. I called this Jojo cause the blue colour made it look like it's a boy. And this is WAAAAAAY BIGGER! :D
Took a bus to Plaza Singapura and saw that the Istana is opened to the public. Our 1st time to the Istana. A rare opportunity to get in and walk around. There's golf courses, ponds, bushes, trees, a big field and roads. Damn cool. It felt as though it's Botanic Garden and it felt like family day. Free entry for Singapore citizens and $1 admission fee for foreigners.

shit, i promised him to sleep at 11. HAHA!
oops, he'll talk about it when he sees this. That'll be in 4 days' time.
:P

Bintan
I'm back from Bintan!
My first time in Bintan and I did a lotta things that I've never done before and I find them new, interesting and exciting to me. Yh and my first time to overseas to Bintan and together. We had alotta first times there. don't get the wrong idea.
How to go Bintan from Singapore?
Transportation to the island is simple; we got there by Ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT) (shit, i actually typed TMNT - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle).
it was a 1 hour trip.
Actually the trip took 0 minutes cos we left Singapore at 2pm and reached Bintan at 2pm (Indo time).
Trip = 0 minutes
HAHAHAHA. ok my weird logic. thanks for reading my crap.
Anyway, they have really weird names for their vessels: ARIA, ,INDERA, BUPALA (no idea what it means). but pronouncing BOO-PAH-LAH just makes me feel like laughing.
Our first time on a ferry.
Lousy mojojojo gets sea-sick so easily.

Accomodation - Mayang Sari Beach Resort
We were a little dissapointed that it rained the moment we reached Bintan. Was really really sad on the bus to our resort. But it gave us the opportunity to ride on the resort's buggy. heh. been aiming on that buggy for 3 years in TP. Luckily the rain stopped after a while.
We stayed at a rustic resort (chalet) right beside the beautiful beach and it's sea-facing. woooot! i love it. i've been dreaming of it and it finally came true :D
The resort offers a very peaceful and quiet place for relaxation and and fun.
Mayang Sari is owned by Nirwana Gardens, who owns many other hotels in Bintan. Well but I think this one is very nice and feels undisturbed.

A panoramic view of the resort and beach taken with my digicam and photoshop-ed to put them altogether. The beach and sea is pretty, clean, clear and calm, unlike the Singapore waters, full of waves and so dirty.

Food
Buffet breakfast provided by hotel is really sumptuous. They have a variety of food from Bread to Teochew porridge to on-the-spot-cooked-by-the-chef eggs to cereals to salads to pastries and fruits. Good enough for us. Filling enough to last us to dinner. So we saved a meal! HAHA
Food sold in the hotel is definitely more expensive than those outside. So we travelled by the shuttle bus ($6/pax for unlimited ride a day) to a place called Pasar Oleh Oleh (it means a place for gifts) to have our dinner. Although I do not eat spicy food, but I simply couldn't resist the Tom Yam soup there. So sour and spicy that our nose taps spoilt and leaked some fluid :/
Btw the cigs there are bloody cheap at $3+ only. Heineken sold at 3 cans for $5. wth?

Activities
Go-kart, i nearly flipped. im lousy. whatever~ :P

The sun was brighter on the 2nd day (luckily it rained on the 1st day) and we could play our water sports. We got to play Jet Ski, went snorkelling and kayaked. But lousy yh got seasick a while after kayaking. kns. wasted $18. ok maybe $9.
Jet Ski was exciting. It was our first time jet skiing. I was the pillion rider first. i was a bit scared at first cause I was kinda afraid of speed and the wind hit right into our faces and we drank a bit of seawater. We went fast and passed the waves and flew over the sea. We were like crazy bitches screaming allover the sea. HAHAHA. we were too excited.
Ok then my turn to drive the Jet Ski and yh was the pillion rider. I feel damn excited and went full blast all the way and flew a lotta times over the sea. WOOOOOOOOT! I think yh was scared that he'll fall into the sea. And I nearly dropped him into the sea :/
This time I drank more water as the driver sitting infront. I find the wind really cool blowing allover my face.
Then it's his turn again to drive. This time he was insane. He seeked revenge and tried to drop me into the sea 3x! Crazy asshole :P
Godammit no pics for jetski I sosososo regret not bringing out my digicam.
Then we sat a boat out to sea to snorkel. It was our first time snorkelling. we nearly couldn't survive without the life vest. HAHA. dammit. It was better when we wore our life vests into the sea.
Btw he dashed back on the beach to the resort to get my digicam for snorkelling. Handsome! :D
We returned and I dragged him to kayak together. I think sitting on a kayak and waiting for the waves to pass by is the most fun thing. You just sway up and down, to and fro. But poor yh wanted to vomit soon after :/

Before we returned to Singapore, we went Rifle Shooting and Archery. Both of which I haven't played before. But I think I'm rather good at rifle shooting :D
My archery just sucks. I have no strength to aim properly and I don't know how to aim. Sucks. But yh hit the bull's eye. wooot!

3 days 2 nights is seriously not enough to finish the things I want to do there. I still want to play a lotta sea sports like wakeboarding, catamaran sailing, windsurfing, dinghy sailing, boogie-boarding, banana boating, kite boarding and jet ski again.
And I wanna play Action ATV (All Terrain Vehicle).
End of our happy trip :)
Some random shots and beautiful shots:

Taiwan - Day 10 & 11 (The End)
Alright, I better finish this before my Bintan trip. HAHAHA
It's our last day in Ximending and also our last day in Taiwan.
I'm getting a little lazy to blog about it.. haha i guess it's too many days, too many stuff.. So look at the pictures with the captions.

damn, i hate the shitty pain.. i screamed like hell.

After massage, we took a train to Taipei 101, the famous Taipei skyscraper. Didn't enter it tho.. Sucks, now i so regret.

Returned to Ximending and went for midnight ktv session. The ktv there is damn cool, there are various level of ktv and there's even buffet. I.e. Unlimited fries, buns, desserts and DRINKS! (Kbox sells like $8 per drink k?)

Sang till late night and the next morning we packed all our stuff and headed to the airport. We're coming back home! Look at the amount of stuff we have!

Time really flies, we thought it's gonna be really long (11 days), but it just went by so fast. Sucks. I wanna go there again. Ok but first go elsewhere to tour first. :D

pulau ubin
I finally went to pulau ubin with yh to cycle..
So full of zest initially, I used my full force to cycle uphill and went downhill so happily until we went the wrong way and had to cycle back the path. Then I began pushing my bicycle uphill and happily going downhill a couple of times and finally found our beach! BUT the beach was less than 100m long. sadded :(
Life is full of uphills and downhills.
Going uphill is such a tedious process, but if you do not reach the top, you do not get the satisfaction. If you stop halfway, you'll be back to the dot. That's equivalent to wasting your energy. So just give it your all and persevere to the top and enjoy the fruits of your labour.
Going downhill may not be as bad as you think. The speed gradually increases and then slows down and you're back to your normal life. For e.g. resignation from a job, you knew you'll be resigning, then you resign and you're back to your normal life.
I enjoy my cycle on a plain road with just a little ups and downs.
(if you wanna hear the taurean language - I enjoy a peaceful life and rotting.)

Pulau Ubin is full of dogs, I finally saw 2 cats before I returned.
At the end of the road, you may find what you wanted, but not what you had expected.
